04.01.2013 Advanced Student Workshop

Advanced Student Training is designed specifically for upper-level undergraduates, graduate students, and other experienced researchers interested in exploring the APA databases. You will be asked for your primary research interest in advance. Those examples will be used with topics that can include:

* Use librarians’ tools for a more powerful search: Booleans, wildcards, and other mysteries
* Explore the value added fields, Methodology, Tests and Measures, Grants and Sponsorship
* Learn how platform tools can be applied to find research funding, subject experts, the right journals for manuscript submission, and more
* Be first to see new research by setting up proactive alerts via email and RSS feeds
* Share research with colleagues using permalinks and DOIs
